GROUPS & WORKSHOPS
I believe meaningful change happens when we feel seen, heard, and supported. Over the years, I’ve facilitated and co-developed evidence-based groups and workshops to help adolescents, caregivers, and clinicians build skills, strengthen relationships, and feel less alone.
I hold certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy for Youth (EFT-Y), with additional training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Narrative approaches. I supported the development of the walk-in mental health clinics in Toronto and Peel, piloting the first brief solution-focused model at SickKids, and migrated the DBT Skills Group to virtual delivery at North York General Hospital during COVID-19.
My greatest expertise comes from being in the room - creating connection, adapting to each group’s needs, and mentoring newer clinicians to build their confidence as group facilitators. I also enjoy integrating skills and activities from groups into individual therapy, helping clients apply what they learn in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
