ABOUT EMMA

With a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto and an Honours Specialization in Psychology from Western University, I’ve built my practice on a foundation of strong clinical training and lived experience.

I’m a Registered Social Worker and have trained and practiced at established organizations including SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health, Credit Valley Hospital, North York General Hospital, Toronto French School, and Family Psychology Centre. My strengths-based approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and patience. I work closely with individuals and families to foster strong therapeutic relationships.

OUTSIDE OF WORK

At my core, I’m someone who finds meaning in relationships. Whether it’s with family or lifelong friends - connection is what anchors me. I love getting to know people, what brings them joy, what challenges them, and what makes them feel seen.

Outside of my clinical work, I spend a lot of time with family, especially up north by the lake. I enjoy exploring new neighbourhoods in Toronto, trying out local restaurants, going to concerts, and finding one-of-a-kind pieces while thrift shopping. I also love to travel. My journeys have taken me across Southeast Asia, Central America, Europe, and beyond. I’m endlessly inspired by the ways people live, express themselves, and carry their stories. Experiencing different cultures has deepened my appreciation for human connection and taught me how much we can learn from one another.

Gratitude plays a big role in how I move through the world. I try to stay rooted, whether it’s in a quiet moment, a shared laugh, or a meaningful conversation. These moments remind me of what really matters, both in life and in therapy: being present, being kind, and showing up for each other.
